Guests are more than welcome to ask Dan for trail recommendations- he knows the backyard mountains well and can point you toward routes that match your skill level, along with a few hidden gems you’d likely miss otherwise.
Note:
Pet fees apply ($50 1st pet, $25/each additional, approval required). Pets cannot be left unaccompanied in the cabin and must remain leashed on the property. No smoking.
Self check-in at 4 PM, checkout at 10 AM. Early access/late departure available upon request and dependent on availability.
Cancellation fees: 100% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 30 day(s) before arrival or earlier. 50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 15 day(s) before arrival or earlier. 0% refundable if canceled after.
It is approximately 10-15 degrees cooler at Pack Creek Ranch than in Downtown Moab.

Guest rent the ENTIRE cabin during their stay- all indoor spaces are private and exclusively yours.
Exploring the property: We encourage guests to wander, walk and explore the land- morning strolls, sunset walks, and quiet moments are part of the experience. Please note that the other cabins on the property are ALSO private rentals and not accessible.

Pack Creek Ranch is s small ranch community with several thoughtfully spaced buildings. The only shared areas are outdoors, and they are clearly marked with signs.

Yes! Pets are welcome for an additional fee:
- $50 non-refundable pet fee for the first pet
- $25 non-refundable fee for each additional pet
Please submit accurate pet counts at booking. Pets significantly increase standard wear on our cabins.
Pets CANNOT be left unaccompanied in the cabin at any time and MUST remain leashed while on the property for the safety of our farm animals.
No pets are permitted without prior written approval and payment of the applicable pet fee as shown on your invoice.

- Cancellations more than 30 days before check-in: Full refund of the rental rate minus a $75 processing fee (cleaning fee is non-refundable)
- Cancellations 15–30 days before check-in: 50% refund of the rental rate (cleaning fee is non-refundable)
- Cancellations within 14 days of check-in: No refund
- No-shows and early departures: No refund.

Yes- a refundable $200 security/damage deposit is pre-authorized on your credit card at booking. It will be released in full within 3 days after checkout, provided the cabin is left in good condition.

Here’s how we’ll communicate everything you need to know about your stay:
1) Once we review and accept your booking request and payment is successfully processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your receipt & stay details.
2) 2 days before check in, you will receive detailed driving directions with a pinpoint map. You can also view these directions early here.
Cell service may be spotty depending on your provider, so please download or print directions before heading out. We’re happy to assist by phone or text if you need help en route. We also recommend enabling wifi calling for this reason.
3) On the day of arrival at 8am, you will receive another email with a complete house guide: keypad code, wifi password, things to note, check-out instructions, and a map of the ranch.
PLEASE contact us if you do not receive these emails. We want to ensure your stay is smooth.

Yes, dependent on availability.
Please contact us to request early check-in or late check-out. We cannot guarantee that we can accommodate your request as our cleaning crew must have enough time to get the cabins in spit-spot shape for the next guest between bookings. Please refrain from accessing the cabins prior to check-out and leave on time unless otherwise given explicit permission.

Absolutely safe to drink! We test our well water every year (required for our license) and it always comes back clean and clear. It’s not treated like city water, so there’s no chlorine or chemicals—just natural well water. Depending on the season, it can pick up a little mineral flavor or slight tint, but that’s normal out here and a lot of guests say it tastes better than what they get at home.

Yes, we’ve got you covered!
Firewood is provided free of charge for the indoor fireplaces. You’ll find a nice starter bundle waiting for you when you arrive, and there’s plenty more stacked by the shed—just help yourself anytime. If you somehow manage to burn through it all (it happens!), shoot Dan a quick text and he’ll drop off another load, no extra cost.
